Project Life 2015, Weeks 20-24

I have been so busy the last few weeks, I really have neglected my blog! The Take 10 Creative Team has kept me busy, and so has summer! And I always think I am going to have more time during the summer...Anyways, I am still here, still staying caught up on my Project Life pages! Here are my weeks 20-24. I am not going to write much about these weeks, so please, please, let me know if you have any questions about the products I have used, or my techniques!

Week 20:

Week 21 - I used my new core kit, Open Book. I love this kit so much!

Sorry for the weird pic in the second row, it was a class selfie, and I don't ever put my students on my blog!

Week 22:

Week 23 - no inserts! Yay!

Week 24 - this one was for my Take 10 Kits blog post. There is one more insert that I did not post here because I am sharing it on the Take 10 blog for my regular Monday post. I will post it here later.

That is it for today. Tune in tomorrow for my 2014 album catch up!

Project Life 2015 Week 19

Week 19 was a hard one to scrap. This was the week our basement flooded. I mostly used my Notes and Things Project Life kit for these pages, with a few Studio Calico cards thrown in. I am just in love with the new kits. I also purchased Open Book - so yummy! And Open Book and Notes and Things really go well together. On to the pages!

Project Life 2015 Week 18

Sorry to have been gone for so long! I am back with my Week 18 pages from my 2015 album. Most of these pages were created using the Studio Calico April kit, Lisse Street. Of course, I stuck with my weekly card from the Project 52 core kit, and there might be a few rogue cards here and there, lol. All of the embellishments came from my stash. Here is the left side:

This was a super  busy week, so I had to use a couple of inserts. Here is the first one:

And the other side of that one:

And the next insert, this is a Design H:

And the right side, plus the other side of that Design H insert - whew!

Hope you enjoyed these pages, please let me know if you have any questions!

Project Life Catch Up - Weeks 14-17 2015

Hey guys! Yes, I am still alive, just really busy and dealing with a lot here at home. The end of the school year is always busy for us teachers, but I had the added stress of a flooded basement (and scrap space). I have my new setup now in my dining room, and I have been busy! Check it out:

There is just enough room for us to eat around the edges, lol. So grateful that I have a supportive family! Sara and all of the Creative Team at Take 10 has also been super supportive of me, taking on my Monday post before I had this scrap space set up. Thanks all! Now, on to what I have been working on since my last post!

Week 14 was a busy one, especially with Easter. I always have a lot of pictures to scrap after Easter weekend. I love with Project Life how I can get so many pictures into one layout, especially using the collage app, PicFrame. For this week, I primarily used my Studio Calico kit from April, Lisse Street, but as always, I use a hodgepodge of bits and pieces from here and there! Here is the left side:

And the inserts - I had to use two of them!

And the right side:

Now, on to week 15! For this week, I used my Stampin' Up! Happiness Is kit that I won during a Becky Higgins hide and seek event. I finally ordered the matching embellishments, and could not wait to use it! Here is the left side, plus an insert:

I had to use two inserts again this week, because we took a little side trip to Des Moines for a wedding, so of course that means extra pictures! Here are the middle inserts:

And the right hand page, with the other side of the insert:

Phew! I love the colors of this kit, they really went well with my pictures this week!

On to week 16! For this week, I used up some more of my Studio Calico April kit, plus some cards from the Project 52 core kit. Here is the left side:

And only one insert this week, lol:

I really love that Design G insert, it is so versatile! And here is the right side:

If you have hung in with me this far, we are almost done! Now for week 17. For this week, I was creating for the Take 10 kits Creative Team. I really love the May kit, the colors are so bright and cheerful! I also used my April and May Studio Calico kits and their paper pads. Everything went together so nicely! The embellishments in the Take 10 May Glam bag are awesome, and I could not stop putting them on my pages, lol. Here is the left side:

Just one small insert this week:

And the right side:

I hope you were able to make it through all of that, hopefully now I can post on a more regular schedule since school is out. We are still dealing with a lot of stuff with our basement, mostly just purging stuff we don't need anymore, and making design decisions, etc., but I am so excited for my new scrap space. It will probably not be all done until the end of summer, so until then, you can find me scrapping on my dining room table! Don't forget to head over to Take 10 kits, you can take 10% off your purchase using the code take10. Thanks for looking!

Project Life 2015 Week 13

This week, I was working with the April 2015 Pocket Kit and Glam Bag from Take 10 Kits. The colors matched perfectly with my weekly title card from my Project 52 kit! These pages are all about "happy accidents," although I was not so happy when the accidents happened! Here is the left side:

I used the stamps from the kits to add a little something extra to the Live the life... card, then colored in the stamped image with some water color. The only extras from my stash that I added to this side were the gold labels (Studio Calico), the rub-ons (Pinkfresh), the raindrop die cuts, the gold letter stickers, enamel dots, and sequins (CTMH). I also used some label stickers that I print and cut with my Silhouette. Here is the right side:

This is the side with the "happy accidents." I wanted to add the same stamped, watercolor images to some of the cards on this side, and when I reached across my table, I spilled the bottle of paint. It totally soaked the card on the bottom left of the page, along with the picture - eek! I had to trash the card, but I was able to save the picture, thank goodness! You can still kind of see the paint on the picture, but I covered it with a sticker from my Glam Bag. I also got some paint on the butterfly card, so I trimmed it down to cut the paint off, then placed it on top of one of the other cards from the Pocket Kit. I actually like the way this card turned out! The last oops was on my report card picture. I also had a drip of paint on it, so I covered that with a bit of washi from the kit and a wooden embellishment that I stamped the "like" image onto.

I just love all the bits of goodness from the April kits! Here is the April 2015 Pocket Kit:

So much goodness! And at just $10 plus shipping, they are a really great deal! I still have lots left over, that I am sure you will see in an upcoming post. Feel free to use the code take10 for 10% off your entire purchase!

Project Life 2015 Week 12, plus an exciting announcement!

I finally finished up my Week 12 pages. This was another busy week, as I think most weeks in the spring can be, so I had to use an insert. I used my Project 52 week card, but the rest of the cards either came from my Studio Calico March kit - Odyssey, or my Paper Issues March swag bag. Many of the embellishments came from both of those sources as well, plus a bit more. I really cannot stick to one kit for my pages! Here is week 12, left, plus the Design H insert:

And the right side:

Ok, so on to my exciting announcement! I recently applied to the Take 10 Kits creative team, and I was selected! So excited to work with a creative bunch of gals and with some fun kits. My week 13 is on my desk right now, and I will be posting it to their facebook page on Monday for my first post! You can find them on the web here and facebook here.

I would also love for you to join us on the Take 10 Kits Facebook page! Thanks for looking, let me know if you have any questions about products or techniques!
